It also appears that the business will actively censor their own members, in order to maintain that cash flow. If what posters on other TEFL websites are saying is true, it appears that Dave’s ESL Cafe willingly takes money from schools and businesses operating illegally and unethically. On The Snapping Point, I view anything enterprise or activity that defrauds you, in order to profit off of you as a scam. By this definition, is Dave’s ESL cafe a scam? That the website uses fake accounts to pretend to be teachers who like the site.It is also alleged that commentators who advise other commentators not to apply for these jobs are banned. That the website accepts money for job ads for companies that treat their workers unethically and pay them very poorly. ![]()
